2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When the website is accessed, the web and proxy servers in use may process technically necessary access data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, amount of data transferred, status code, referring page, and information about the browser and operating system.
This processing is carried out to provide the website securely and reliably, detect errors and prevent unauthorised access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website.
Log data is deleted once it is no longer required for these purposes. It is retained for longer only where necessary to investigate a security incident, establish or enforce legal claims, or comply with statutory obligations.
3. Availability and price requests
When you enter travel dates, the arrival and departure dates are sent to our HolidayRental application, which checks availability and price. No name or contact details are required for this non-binding request.
Processing is carried out to take pre-contractual steps at your request under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and to provide the function securely under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical access data may be logged as described in section 2.
4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, in particular your email address, the content of your message and, where applicable, your name and travel dates. The data is used to respond to your enquiry and to prepare or perform a rental agreement.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a booking or contract. For other enquiries, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to respond appropriately to your message.
We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and there are no statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage.
5. OpenStreetMap map
The embedded map is initially disabled. A connection to servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0WS, United Kingdom, is established only after you click “Load map”. In particular, your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, and the time and scope of the request may be transmitted.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent applies to the current page view. Reloading the page disables the embedded map again; data already transmitted cannot be recalled.
Further information is available in the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
6. External booking websites
This website contains links to FeWo-direkt and the Carvoeiro Clube Group. A connection to these providers is established only when you follow the relevant link. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on its website.
7. Cookies and audience measurement
We do not use analytics or marketing services on this website and do not set any non-essential cookies ourselves. After you voluntarily load the OpenStreetMap map, the map provider may use its own technical methods; please refer to section 5.
8. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, you may contact:
